The Complete News : Prologue

In Val Camonica, Italy, petroglyphs on a rock surface resembling cave drawings  depict two humanoid forms that reportedly indicate alien visitations. Its one of the objects engaged by studies into what the proponents claim is ' Ancient Astronaut Theory.'  First proposed in the year 1919 the subject has grown into a phenomenal popular interest outside of mainstream science.

 

The theory states that aliens have in the past regularly visited the earth and have had a profound effect on the human mind and cultural development. The issue was famously highlighted by Erich Von Deniken in his book ' The Chariots of the Gods.'

 

Perhaps the greatest malady associated with such studies is the failure to present a complete and coherent report on the issues. As with alien sightings, UFO's and unexplained phenomenon, the issues have been dismissed by the government, NASA and related authorities. Generally scientists have not granted a peer reviewed approval to the theories.

 

Admittedly the issue is a complex one. It brings into focus our concerns about life here on earth, the possibility of other lives out there and the nature of human life in the universe. Such information regarding these matters causes an astonishment in us and creates a powerful influence on the objectivity of such findings and interpretations of data.

 

In pursuing such interests therefore a person needs to have a great concern for the precise nature of information and ensure that there is sufficient evidence to validate the thesis. But one thing is clear. The human brought to study life on earth is himself an object of creation by life. Our clinical observation of the issues while keeping our personal natures stable should be subject to rigorous training.

 

On a layman basis we sometimes come up with the suggestion of a sensational breakthrough in our own thinking … no doubt the product of our own beautiful minds. But being wrong before and then compensating for it by leaping out of the shell may be a poor way to handle the matter. A person needs to be precise about what they have been wrong about. Its accountability.

 

The Austrian philosopher Hegel declared that the mind is infinite. That assures us that every one of us possesses the most powerful instrument in the universe with which to open up the vaults of the hidden and mysterious. If we had been wrong before we ought to find a way to make it right.
