The screen presentation was about being a lady. However in coming across the text again today, it occurs to me that there are no high winds in Spain.
It obviously takes two in every situation to make a complete sense of things. And where the two are getting along great one expects the outcome to be a productive one.
In the Mahabarata, what began as a dream in the early experience of creation broke up into two. It compensated for it by learning to play as a team. But the curious difference that arose was too strong for any one side to endure. They led in opposite directions in the experience of expansion. The Bible appears to have reported the event as ' go forth and multiply.'
In the recent great war the world saw the allies come together in a common purpose to defeat the vain ambitions of dictators and emperors. The alliance was a fragile one and broke up immediately after the war into a period of confrontation between former allies that lasted longer than the war itself.
There continues to be stories of engagements between angels and archons around the world. It is the great confrontation between good and evil. We know what angels are but the term archon is more mysterious. I suspect it’s from archosaurus, an extinct dinosaur, viewed as having risen from the dead as dragon.
Whether it may be possible for the two groups to work as a team has occupied the attention of the men of letters for many centuries. It would indeed be a dream but are we ready?
Alexander marched his army around the world possibly for the same dream but stopped on the border provinces of India. His generals had argued with him about not continuing. The men were simply exhausted. Very few people can continue fighting the whole world their entire lives. He made the decision to withdraw.
In retrospect that was a good decision. India at this period had just completed a unification of most of the princely states and as the the Mauryan empire stretched right across the country from the west to the east coast and down to Tamilnadu.
The story thereafter is convoluted. Alexander retired to Babylon where he died. About the same time the Mauryan empire fell because Asoka renounced violence, took to Buddhism and infighting caused the empire to break up … leaping lizards! … Believe it or find out yourself. © 2013 Dayran |
