Nursery Rhymes : Prologue

Nursery Rhymes : Prologue

A Poem by Dayran

Peter was a little lad

That made the blues quickly fled

He lived in a nursery

Himself and all the fairies.

His brother was a bigger boy

Already five so no toys

At one, Peter still had pals

In doll houses, clothes and walls.

A nursery is a home in the world

With many friends on the social whirl

You just had to look around and see

Or start a conversation .. its … easy.

Peter spoke to them all everyday

And became great friends with the lady Fei

That's the mama bear on the side wall

In apron and gracious beauty swell.

Goofy the dog made like a clown

Played like a grown up about town

Always acted like father bear

But wore band-aid for pains nowhere.

At mealtimes Peter joins the family

Figures its life's social activity

There's father, mother and his big brother

Peter's little world, a family tree.

He spends his days and nights like this

The social nursery and home

Figures someday it'll be the world

But what becomes of nursery?

Interesting little tale you have here. I've read the 1st and the 3rd of this series. Pretty cute stuff.
