Love & SexualityA Story by DayranLove in Rehabilitation Series : XIts impossible to speak of love and male sexuality on one page. On the other hand perhaps that's the only way it ought to be spoken, to bring a focus to a specific application. In relation to mind, a man's sexuality undergoes sublimation of itself. That would concern every thinking individual for the proper management of the issue.
The sexual energy, when it sprouts at a young age seeks the stars before it will satisfy itself on its ambitions. This comes to be represented as girls, career, wealth, fame, good looks and success. I don't wish to discourage anyone from continuing to try but its ambitions grows even by the satisfaction it encounters and eventually becomes quite unwieldy.
The average experience of any man is to draw a line some where and say that he has tried the best he could. That is not without some humble pie in the offing. When he does that, the sexual energy slows its drive and turns in the direction of being sensual. In time this may come to extend itself as subtle sex appeal, platonic outlook, love for children and society, concern for the world and an appreciation for the arts and altruistic qualities.
A person may argue that such a development is entirely natural in life. That it contributes to the bond in societies, a greater acumen for learning and an interest in many things that take precedence over one's purely selfish concerns. He would of course be absolutely correct.
The sublimated impulse now settles into an experience of the passions in the body and is not unknown to recontact the prick for a socially responsible sexual relation. This brings the individual into a knowing sense of the experience of love, on account of his own active involvement in the process of sublimation.
Its always there at the back of any love experience … that twinkle in the eye, the curve in the smile, the quality of communication and the ever present belief in itself and its possibilities. They are great partners in life … always looking out for the other.
