The Child of Man

The Child of Man

A Poem by Dayran
"

Earth, Wind, Fire, Water series : Prologue

"

He was like a young boy unschooled

Grew up fast viewing care's concerns

Adonais of youth.

Continues the same way these days

Unbridled, untamed but milk mild

He reigns with playful love.

With the young mother he's cupid

And father as will of duty

Steers the way for man's insight.

As wind is to the earth's pollen

As water is to fire's light

Commands he the way of natures

At last meets his father sapiens

To merge with him as holy mankind

And then to unfold the true man.

All suspicions fade

When we see freedom in his work

What's impossible becomes normal.
