Do fishes have sex? According to the scientific account, the female lays her eggs and the male fertilizes it with his sperm. That's a little like pre-mature ejaculation in a human male. But in the experience of human insight it provides a clue as to the orgiastic nature of thoughts and sheds some light on what we have come to call the pleasure principle.

The civil idea in society founds itself on the pleasure principle. Despite the diversity we encounter among the many members in a society of the world, we find that each ascribes to a separate sense of beauty that brings pleasure to the individual member. In cognition of this we observe a liberal nature in which we come to understand the varied experiences of separate parts of what we are as the world.

The orgiastic nature of thoughts contains within itself many points of pleasure as experienced by different physical natures of man. The world may be viewed as the vessel for such a collective experience or as it sometimes happens we associate it with one person. Such was the descriptions applied to Cybele as the world mother goddess. In association with her we find other points of pleasure similarly named.

There's Venus for the act of love, Nike for victory, Athena for physical activity, Hestia for the home and Saraswathi for knowledge. No doubt they find a representation in each division of man but they obviously apply themselves to a unique and individual pleasure experience.

In the collage of different groups in the world, how does one individual know what is the right thing? By referring to his sense of pleasure. He does this through a culture of like and dislike, right and wrong, good and evil and experiences of goals in life. I recall feeling in my youth that more than anything else, I wanted knowledge. This I'm happy to say gives me pleasure.

We make such choices or are guided into them by the world or perhaps a mother goddess. A father is a soldier so that his son may be a lawyer and his grandson a poet. Perhaps my daughter would make an excellent Hestia and her son will know love.
