Notes from The Halls of Freedom : IV

"

The legend of the Amazons comes from a contentious and controversial past. Its origins are steeped in the mist of history but a curious tale emerges of love, courage and a soldiering demeanor that is second to none. However, in writing of its tale I have nothing tangible to rely upon other than the faith of my guides and the goodwill of my readers.

In the search for past historical artifacts, researchers encounter the dead end of cremation of the dead. In the search for transparency of will human insight stumbles into its greatest nightmare when the mind realizes that past personalities did not engage the mind the way we do today. Instead they relied on a powerful sense of body mind that reflected the mind in an accurate a manner as is possible.

Such is the situation we encounter today regarding the fighting Amazons, the soldiering ladies who set up the first empire early in the history of the world. Their men were of the most gentle persuasion who when encountering the use of the reflective quality of mind by their women, disengaged themselves from mind and developed the passions as the instrument of work.

These folks are reputed to have set up the first temple in 4,000 BC and thereafter the Egyptian dynasty and in association with the Indic, helped cultivate the early vedic practices in the Indus valley. This became what was to be known as the Indo-European stock that was perhaps a part of the Scythia based development of man.

From the Indic perspective, it explained a great many things in our historical development to modern day India. It speaks of Indo-European collaboration both in the legends of Krishna and about 1,200 years later, the legends of Siva. And it continues to refer to the natural friendship that exists between the Indic population and Western society.

Its curious that such ancient details of history should emerge with such a personal interest in the 21st century. It has since renewed the view of the Indic about his own identity, his deification of the woman as Goddess and the fact that Indic men wore a skirt as regular clothing until the 15 th century BCE. Equally informative is the Indic reliance on music, songs and their passions in the cultural development of their identity.

The challenges we face in the globalization of the world's experience may be big but they don't lack a historical familiarity. Human insight may lead the way but its science that must establish the facts. But a secret will to hide the insight that women created the initiative for the development of mind, its historical records and the possible scientific corroboration that the mind is stimulated with estrogen in order to work will continue to bedevil our efforts. If we hide the truth from ourselves and search for the truth it is hoped it'll find us some day for we certainly will not find it.

i have been reading a lot of roberto calasso lately who after writing about greek gods then went to the vedic stuff and threaded some mythological stories together and so i am new to all this, as i learn that there was something before the gods..
As for this piece..i like its exploration although the second paragraph is a little baffling, the phrasing is clumsy and I dont quite understand the meaning of in search of transparency of will...but i am sure it will seem less vague when i think about it more. a very interesting piece which seems to be saying the world is changing and people enbody both male and female in themselves and if i am reading you right everyoe will be female in the end or something? so sorry to be not understanding, just delete this comment if it is going to give the wrong interpretation
