Bucking the TrendA Story by DayranChronicles of Dreams & Wishes : IVIt is our understanding at this time that the belief in an all powerful, all knowing being who guides the affairs of man originated from the basic contact between man and the world. In viewing the immensity of the force of creation, man was reduced to something smaller and offered his acquiescence to something he perceived as being more powerful than him.
We are able to speak of such a frame of possibilities that we may have experienced. However it is less easy to perceive in our passions the content of its experience. Its a little like the government economic planner in a laissez faire economy who forecasted a growth in the economy of 5% but fell short of the target. When reviewing the situation, he finds that certain sections of the consumer willfully bucked the trend to gain an advantage in specific areas for financial gain.
Such a result inevitably arises in situations in which we are undertaking planning for an object that is able to think for itself, form its own opinions and decision making. In much the same way our relations with the God experience has evolved, formed and grown into something quite unlike what we may have perceived originally. This may be attributed to considerable willfulness by man over the ages.
At this point we may be way over the top with the initiatives of man. What that leaves us with is an experience of the social order of life that is fair and productive. But what buggers us within is the quaint nagging doubt in the mind of the thinker for the all consuming question of ' how ' … how on earth did we do it? Shouldn't a thinking man know?
I think I know … but how shall I say it? ... its the sandbars. Really! You see when the world was created certain peninsulas of land in the world's experience was not formed by land rising from the waters. It was produced by the action of wind and water over the ages to form new land masses that eventually supported life. Its doing that even as we speak.
In the absolute nature of the mind of the original perceiver such initiatives by the objects of creation caused an aberration to its own outlook. In experiencing this our early religious fathers dismissed as nonsense any suggestions by the initiatives of man to found an alternative view of the human condition, figuring that the physical nature of the original creation is immutable.
In Indic studies of Lokamaya ( the experience of the land ) , the divine forces came to war with man over the issue of perceptions. Finally they churned the ocean of milk that represented the basis of thought by the Gods, to come to accept a compromise between each other. We see that today in our daily activities and the ' how ' of balance in our passions. © 2013 Dayran |
