The Raven and the Writing DeskA Screenplay by DayranFables from The Quick Brown Fox : III( A scene on the lawn of the Club. A member is celebrating his little daughter's birthday ).
Lazy Dog : So why do you think man needs mascots?
Brown Fox : You mean us? Well … my guess is they are not so good at issues of instinct and intuition anymore … too many degrees … causing Permanent head Damage ( PhD ).
Lazy Dog : So they cultivate a relation to us as the intuition of the passions?
Brown Fox : Why is that so hard to believe? Even as we speak right now we are channeling our communication to some point of experience in every member?
Lazy Dog : Really? They are hearing us?
Brown Fox : With the instruments of the passions. Its the force of the scopophilia in blood. Its in all living matter. Its what connects all life in an experience of the whole.
Lazy Dog : You mean like the whole world?
Brown Fox : According to its relevance. With what is termed your allies. Its the Actaeon of the man, the peeping Tom of all life. Just making sure that we are all together on the issues.
Lazy Dog : So Charles Manson could be listening to us and making up his own mind about what it means ?
Brown Fox : You think he might need a mascot? Would improve his disposition.
Lazy Dog : So here's everyone at a birthday party but they are also communicating with each other in another form.
Brown Fox : I would think. Did you know that my ancestor, an English Fox helped Lewis Carol write about Alice's Adventures? They did it with a vulture, a rabbit, a walrus, a cat, Lewis's mother and someone like that little girl over there. She was the daughter of Lewis's best friend and together with her sister took boat rides with him on the Thames. She told these fantastic stories about caterpillars and white rabbits.
Lazy Dog : They're not paying us enough here.
Brown Fox : You got that right.
