Journeys of Eros : II

"

In a continuing part of the Eros experience, we see him jumping out of a pumpkin and in a manner imitating earnestness asks, ' trick or treat? ' Certainly a quizzical aspect of the experience of the joys of life perhaps even its greatest. Its like choosing to wash up from the basin when you have a shower because it thrills to a greater physical contact with the hands.

In the bare-knuckled encounter that he comes into contact with people, he still manages a calm sleight of hand, firm in a quickdraw that'll drop an adversary at 25 feet.

The world has been treated to the stories of cowboys, lawmen and frontiersmen for the last 100 years. It has filled our admiration for the lonely pioneer who is more than what he appears to be. This is proving itself a substance of value in the world's society today where the individual qualities of a person are receiving new emphasis. Its the life of the 15 minute manager who has to be knowledgeable and spontaneous in his responses.

In this, Eros seems to have given himself over to the great experiment. To found an ideal of life and to live it and thereafter to achieve the realization of the dream. It is a dream of joys, of happiness and the realization that these are true about us. It is also the dream of beauty, of the self and its contact with itself in the passions of love and discovery. And sometimes this leads to the most high in the quiet stillness of the soul.

In his new role, Eros pulls all the stops and doesn't pause for a review. He sometimes lashes out at what hurts him, no longer works or is simply dulled into boredom. He rises from the passions of blood in a vampiric defense of love as an instrument the world must never lose. In this his role may change to more Gotham city and less prairie.

Much of these takes place on the streets where he lives and sometimes in the sound stages of the movie producers. It is here that a movie actress of some repute once gave some advice on acting to a foreign actor seeking to find a place among the stars. ' Don't be dramatic,' she had said, ' let the camera do all the work.'
