Father refused to get on it. So mother and the kid went for the ride. It was shaped like a galleon that swung like a pendulum on high seas. It raised itself to a high at one end before swinging in the opposite direction and raising itself again.

In watching the swing, Father must have figured that an individual who loves a dreamboat is a person who prefers to be by themselves. How on earth would they conduct a relationship with someone else without a little mischief?

But a relationship between two highs that alternate with each other should be considered sublimely accidental. The medical profession however considers it a malaise to be treated with drugs. What it is, is a person who is entirely unmindful and lives in some way hidden to the man she marries. She has a secret lover. This was the original bane of an Eros that spawned the personality of Echo.

The messenger who commutes between the two is the infant in us all, sometimes expressed in infantile fascination with the nature of the truth in our lives. It travels between the two points without any help from us, leaving us flustered and bewildered at times. But fortunately a cultivation of the infant into the ways of grown ups comes naturally to all parents.

Indian bards, when confronted with the precociously active child, converted the experience to an older gentleman  in the personality of the notorious Krishna. He lives his life responding to his admirers, called gopis in Sanskrit. But it takes more to unite his twin views of the physical and the dream as being both real.

Learning to do this well is the ambition and life of every Indian. It explains why India is India, practicing
' Sanatana Dharma' as a national policy. This reflects on Indian attitudes in the way that they consider their lives to be guided by the nation's democratic constitution with its source in Dharma.
