The Mad Elephant of Gohrah

At the back of the store, a person will find a place like a mini zoo for animals. The place is generally foul but that doesn't account for the disordered state of mind of the elephant. It is however, due to the incredible pace of changes that take place, seemingly without reason, that explains the elephant's condition.

 

He was at one time the mascot of the Roang Club, but due to the bitter feud between the Monmons and the Morini, the elephant was returned to the store for rehabilitation.

 

Archie ( aka Archlira ) explains the elephant's condition as a metamorphosis and has advised the stokeeps to avoid the use of metaphors. Instead to focus on direct speech and a straigtforward manner until the metamorphosis comes under some regulatory supervision.

 

The condition is also observed in the relations between the Club of Rome and the Club of Oman. One is the child and the other is the mother and it appears from recent experiences that their positions are interchangeable. This has caused a sharp division between the two clubs that may only be healed when the issue is affirmed as to its true state.

 

This has caused some anxiety to Sofame in his duties and he takes a sabbatical from time to time to think it over. Also at issue are questions regarding what is real and what is not, what is physical and what is of the conscious experience. Currently, all three clubs subscribe to the definitions of reality by the Club of Rome.

 

Archie insists that the faith of institutionalized practices be continued until such a substitution may be undertaken in parts without causing a public disorder. Members would appreciate that Archie always gets what Archie wants and are advised accordingly. He figures that if the elephant is not healed he's going to trade it for a moose. He considers such an act an improvement.
