Tales of Gender Relations : IV

I read somewhere that Genghis Khan loved children, that he used to be completely bowled over and will make faces at them. What appears like contradictions in people often hides an important aspect of the experience of love ..... its reflections.

We do what we do and then we look back at what we have done. We do it to engage ourselves in an understanding of our actions. In doing so, we explain to ourselves our motives, actions, the opportunity and the result of our actions. Thereafter we prepare to face what may well be the outcome and consequences. By such a manner, we claim to the knowledge of our actions and the personality we represent to others.

Curiously, such representations that we do are the product of our own thoughts, reviews and assessment. We create a comparison with others on occasion but by and large we create the stipulation for the way we are viewed in public and in our relations.

As a measuring tool, the identity we cultivate, forms the basis with which we view all else, including the character and friendship of others. Where this comes to a commitment in our affairs we ask a few friends for their opinion and then we may take the plunge into a marriage, a job or try out that new fashion.

But it's us .... the one and only, who performs the activity, reflects on it and then affirms the truth or virtue in that experience. And such is the experience of virtue that we engage in our perceptions and in the judgments we make to steer our lives in the directions that it goes. When faced with a problem from the past, wouldn't it be relevant to ask ourselves why we had engaged that activity before? Just to ourselves ....

The issue emerges with a great new intensity in our affairs today .... we see the size and scope of it .... we wonder how on earth we engaged it before .... but are we also telling ourselves, that in some form, we know why? Its will be a curious reflection to find that all our reflections are in some way, on love itself.
