Tales of the Heart's Intimations : II

You would expect it to be true .... stresses in hell, that is .... but even more so, the many misunderstanding and misinterpretations we have regarding it. From stuff that we inherited, we have come to refer to the fallen as angels who were cast down. Does this create references to a former perfection?

The heart abounds with intimations regarding these but they are too numerous and too often has man himself created the many stories and excuses to avoid looking at something or to postpone it to another day. The mind seeks to be coherent and can only refer to one of these as an expression of the experience.

This it refers to as what we ourselves call suffering or a sense of being deprived. It admonishes us to look at it again. It may take a little courage to do so, some time to do it in, a little reading and perhaps some inquiry.

The ages past did cast a mold of interpretations that weighs heavily on our minds today. Such knowledge that it represented came to be a part of our social decorum and formed the basis of international perceptions. From the crusades, the past millennium turned softly into the study of science, psychology and the humanities that offered an alternative view of life.

And then something incredible happened ... the founding of a nation called America. There, the kids started to play with the devil, celebrated witchery in the annual Halloween and mixed up again all that the world had carefully arranged in a social decorum regarding issues, from 2,000 years before. Sodomy, previously destroyed in sulphur and hailstones, has emerged as legal.

Stress in purgatory? .... I'd say .... for a re-look at all that the world has believed to be true. And what a review ... it promises to recreate the world all over again.
