The Self Enigma

The Self Enigma

Such as it is the size of itself,

Made up of many aspects of mind,

It chose to rely upon the nature of man,

To guide its ways through the creative impulses.

Man, for the milk quality that he represents,

Gentle and representative of life's wishes,

That he takes to fancy and to endearment,

Around which the creative heart built a world,

That he may come to blend together as one,

For his wishes of joy and self playing activity,

At a time when the creative heart was the self,

Forming a vision of itself to relate to the man,

Which he responded to with the female,

As they played to know each other and self,

Till he discovered the female, the creativeness,

And the male, as the nature of the man, its milk.

Thereafter the female played with the man to know himself,

And to bring to the drifting creativeness a purpose,

That they may direct themselves to thereafter,

Into the future, as man and woman, the human species,

And to unite each other with the world around us.

This, we encounter in our lives today, as we attend,

To each other our needs, the defined and undefinable,

Singing, dancing and working to reach that one,

With which we respond to the other in togetherness,

Male to female and then back again, a joyous rhapsody.
