A Sensual PrivacyA Poem by Dayranby Dayran
A privacy is the door to the self, It is the closest we come to know, Of the intimacy we share with others, Hence the sense of the one in relations, And with regards to ourselves, the individual. Such as we intuit the nature of the self, Presents us with curious options, How we engage thoughts of our self-interests, Rest in the posture we are in, at that time. There are those who create a sacrifice, And merge the self with the self of all, Creating a social vehicle that lives for others, And denies the individual qualities of the self, Such persons bring love to our societies, And exalt the qualities of giving and sharing. Then there's the one who emphasizes individuality, And is merged in the experience of society, To be the lighthouse in our affairs, Naught to self proclaim but the cognition, That is implied in the adoration of society. Together they form the two pillars of tort, Where we define goodness in our experiences, As that which is good for the one is good for all, And that which is good for all, is good for the one.
