Yield Your Passion

Yield Your Passion

A Poem by Daydreaming

This low glowing smolder,
Feelings be tinder.

Lips of desire, shaded in scarlet.
Heinous lies, women of scarlet.
Emotions scattered, harlot.

Eyes of blue, drenched in indignity.
Soft whispers, pleads of remorse.
Voice has shriveled, hoarse.

Body turned frail, aching for independence.
Slowly moving, wishing no more.
Life be still, on this cold brick floor.

Ember drenched with fear,
no longer capable to shed a tear.

Very beautiful descriptions and imagery. I also like how this poem shifts from passion to despair...
I'd say your work is on the up and up!
