Sweet MissusA Poem by DaydreamingGive your all to the one you love, but how much is to much. The struggle of a man and his Missus. You yell and shriek by the sounds of hours. Why do you stay in this house of ours. The clock hits three, you scream and cry, slowly moving.. towards me. Bones creaking and joints out of place, You crawl from the darkest of space. The lights they flicker, My voice, courage and hope all wither. Your grin hides your terrifying guile, I know its not friendly, its a murderous smile. Your voice is alluring, why is that so! How you always get so close, I never seem to know. Your body is heavy, your will is strong. Opening my mouth and hiding inside, it feels so wrong. Controlling my body with your insane desires. Your hunger burns hotter than hell's fires! I won't listen, get out of my head! Allow me once again to lay in this bed. Gripping so tightly with no feelings of remorse, Your holding my throat with such force. Hardly breathing, oxygen deprived. I guess that's it, my times arrived. No bad thoughts or hateful wishes, As long as your happy, that's fine by me. Goodnight, my sweet Missus.
