Life and Death

Life and Death

A Poem by Caftra
"

This poem was written when I was reflecting upon an argument I witnessed in literature class in my 1st year of college.

"

Sanity is determined by one's accepted ignorance of the world

While life is an intense resistance of the inevitable

And death is the end result of a life filled to the brim with empty worth

Our world is bathed in a light of gray

For all I've said is neither right or wrong

So in the end

We decide the power that ignorance, life, and death has over us

And what light we allow the world to see us in

Whether it be Black, White, or Gray

And so there is not right our wrong according to the world at large, but merely that which people impose upon others.
