Cicero Cowboy {the bandage over my suicide}

Cicero Cowboy {the bandage over my suicide}

A Poem by Christy Hauck

Watch him sleep

My personal reason for living

With an aura that shines gold and white

Hazel-green eyes that seduce with a blink

A grin from ear to ear

He has to be an angel

The cowboy from Cicero

My bandage over suicide

From broken home to a threat

From Violation to Freedom

He has always been a runner

Where do you run to next, cowboy?

Christy, this was pretty spectacular.

"He has to be an angel
The cowboy from Cicero
My bandage over suicide"

That's cool stuff.
