"

To think that I’ll be older

One week more to go

Waking up all alone

A smile in the sunlight

I hear of what has happened

And for a moment I think

You will never be older

You will never be older

You will never be happier

You will never be stronger

You will never feel

The sun touch your face again

Most people never get the chance

They never get to say goodbye

But I have to thank you

Since you gave me that chance

You have given me reminders

And I know you are still here

No one wants to come to terms

You will always be with me

Tears come later

When I’m older

And you never will be
