Unrequited

Unrequited

A Poem by Christy Hauck
"

another Wanderlust song! weird rhyme scheme I didn't even realize I used until I was done and looking it over

"

I know I love you

I just can’t say your name

I know your spirit

For it resides in me too

What will it take?

What can I do?

What is going to happen

When I look at you?

Don’t you know that it can never be?

Don’t you know that I don’t see you?

Don’t you see what I am and listen to me?

This will always be unrequited

My blood listens to your sound

My heart pounds along in time

My blood sings of histories

This love has yet to be found

You fill me with wonder

You have to be the one

You are perfect for me

The right amount of fun

I tend to write Urban Fantasy, but that is because everytime I sit down to write anything but that, I always end up brainstorming some weird fictional thing that does not factor into the environment o.. more..
