Paranoia

Paranoia

A Poem by Christy Hauck
"

Wanderlust lyrics, blue is for Sean, black is for Rebecca, green is for me

"

Fire in fire in lies

Drifting away on a sea of hatred

Dreams are being carried out

I will, I will survive

I watched you die

Sleep was the last thing on my mind

(I watched you die)

Fear makes the tears mix with the blood

(I watched you die)

I was there when you died

Screams echo through the chimes

This is not a new experience

(Empathic connections)

Get out of my head

You’re not dead, yet

I watched you die

Sleep was the last thing on my mind

(I watched you die)

Fear makes the tears mix with the blood

(I watched you die)

I was there when you died

Stop this insane haunting

I know I’m not paranoid

But I can tell where you are

Just with a single thought

Tell me why, because

I watched you die

Sleep was the last thing on my mind

(I watched you die)

Fear makes the tears mix with the blood

(I watched you die)

In my arms

In my spirit

In my next heartbeat

I watched you die

I tend to write Urban Fantasy, but that is because everytime I sit down to write anything but that, I always end up brainstorming some weird fictional thing that does not factor into the environment o.. more..
