To Intend

A Poem by Christy Hauck
"

For my Creative Writing class, we are supposed to write three different poems in three different forms. This is my surprisingly sexual villanelle.

"

Two and ten is how long it took for you to come here

It took me another five years to fall in love

You, you are my forthcoming storm, the one thing I fear

Your eyes show the dark blue color of a storm very near

I wish to study them as I become your young soiled dove

Two and ten is how long it took for you to come here

To grip your forever tanned back while you hold me dear

To watch you lift your head in passion to the heavens above

You, you are my forthcoming storm, the one thing I fear

Though, that is my wish, I know you find me queer

Will you ever let my small virgin body be your body’s glove?

Two and ten is how long it took for you to come here

My sweet threatening stormy eyed lover, have you ever looked in a mirror?

I don’t need one, yet someone needs to give you a shove

You, you are my forthcoming storm, the one thing I fear

Even with no arms or no voice , I will never show you a sneer

Come with me, to my hidden untouched alcove

Two and ten is how long it took for you to come here

You, you are my forthcoming storm, the one thing I fear

About
I tend to write Urban Fantasy, but that is because everytime I sit down to write anything but that, I always end up brainstorming some weird fictional thing that does not factor into the environment o.. more..
