The book from Shelves Lane

The book from Shelves Lane

A Poem by Dawn Writer
"

A quirky personification.

"
The book from Shelves Lane, up on 3rd row,
Jumped from it's home ready to go.
On the journey it told of ships, silver and gold,
How hero's pushed on through rain, heat and cold.
It told of lands both near and far,
Of places that sadly, you can't reach by car.
This teller of stories is my companion, my friend and my foe,
And of great tales, it tells how they go.
The book from Shelves Land, up on 3rd row,
Jumped from it's home ready to go.
