Mistaken

I know I'm alive 

but I feel like I've died.

It's sort of like a dream

when nothing is as it seems.

He turned is back

without knowing the facts

 

of what had occurred.

It was completely absurd.

He did not want me around

so is footsteps became

the only sound.

What a way to have mistaken what's significantly precious from the get go. A selfish blinded eye cannot see the true value within a real relationship. His loss will become someone else's gain. What a pity to be truly mistaken in this situation. Great write. :)
