Hush Little Girl

Hush Little Girl

A Poem by Dandelion

Hush little girl, don't make a sound.
Sit down and wait for the pain to pass.
Plaster a fake smile on your face
and don't speak of your fears.

Hush little girl, for they are listening.
Keep quiet and hide your sorrow,
for they will take you away
if they knew you were upset.

Hush little girl, run and hide.
Don't come out please, I beg.
You'll be fine, do not worry of me.
Save yourself darling.

Hush little girl, for I am sorry.
I will ease your pain.
I will not let them hurt you anymore.
Please just hang in there.

Hush little girl, this is goodbye.
I will not see you again.
Stay hidden, help will come
trust me. You will be alright.
