Broken Heart, Crushed Soul

I gave you my heart,
You decided to break it.
I gave you my world
but you wouldn't take it.
I lent you my soul
just for a bit
but I already know
you would crush it.
I wish I've  known better,
then I wouldn't try
but I'm not that clever .
Remembering makes me cry.
Hearing you voice,
seeing your face,
you've left me no choice.
I'll move on at my own pace.
