Biting the Bullet

Biting the Bullet

A Poem by Dandelion

Where to go,
I have nowhere to turn.
Hiding what I must say,
waiting for it to burn.

It's beginning to eat at me.
I don't know what to feel
or what to do
except break the seal.

My lips are sown,
My tongue clipped.
Nothing will be able
to slip through my lips

I sit with these thoughts
pondering the right move to lend.
I believe I've been check mated
because this looks like the end.
