I'm halfway gone
and on my way,
to find it, to find you.
I'm almost there.

As I fade to nothing
my tears burn my face.
You continue walking
and I will soon disappear.

I shout out to you
and my screams echo
but you hear nothing
and I fall to my knees.

Now I'm mist in the air.
I meant to tell you everything
but I'm halfway gone
and you couldn't hear.
