Unspoken

Unspoken

A Poem by Dawn

A word left unwritten
a thought never finished
a life cut short.

A scatting of possessions
gathering dust
forgotten in a dark corner

Silence stretches out before me
Light moving across a bare floor
The empty echos of an empty house

Shadows of the past
pressing close about me.
As I walk through this empty life

Would anyone grieve for me,
where I gone,
The way I grieve for you

Silence unbroken
Words unspoken
Life gone too soon,
