Small Town Business

..Well if you are from a small town you will understand my next poem. Cross Canadian Ragweed came out with this song called Leave me alone. It fits how i feel at this time i suppose.

 

Small Town Business

 

 

 

Everyone's storey they seem to tell

 

They dont know you? They make one up

 

See small town i know you too well

 

 

 

If they like you a good storey it will be

 

If they dont your fucked

 

you wait, you'll see!

 

 

 

Taking the trueth turning them to lies

 

Spreading them all over town

 

buzzing like flies.

 

 

 

Anything to bring you down

 

thats what they like best

 

See small town put me to the test!

 

 

 

I have a storey it is my own

 

dont make one up for me thanks

 

just leave me alone!

Isn't this the truth! This is well said and well put together.
This is wonderful, Boy this could be be stated as
this place here about certain people.
I will never understand why people can't grow up and
leave things alone and just stay out of other peoples
business. This is wonderful and so truthful.

Ahhh yes the whole Payton place effect... some people have nothing better to do but talk bout others lives, usually cause they have no life or a miserable one... even if the news is true it should not be discussed, like you said if they want they will lie to hurt you, that usually means they are jealous of you... great poem my friend.

Ah that is the total truth of a small town. I really think everyone that is from one knows just how it goes. There are a few spelling errors that take away from the greatness of this piece, i think correcting them will add so much more to this great writing...

Growing up in a small town I can really relate to this poem, sad that people don't have anything better to do than to stick there nose in somebody elses business. Well done.
