I will Always be with you

I will Always be with you

A Poem by Dawn Davis
"

This was written when I first found out I had a brain tumor and Chiari malformation and syringomyelia. I thought well.... This is it for me because i was swelling up couldn't walk seizers that knocked me out waking up not knowing what the heck had happen

"

Surgery after surgery tough through it all,

my tired body has had enough and now ready to fall.

Never being angry at God for making me an example,

always knowing he'll give me nothing more than which i can handle.

But now i live with an eternal disease,

my broken down body never at ease.

For those that resent me and wish me gone,

do your dance and have your victory song.

But for those who love me me dear,

always know i will always be near.

Because up in heaven my peace awaits,

hopefully my chance to see the pearly gates.

Please dont be sad or cry ,

for everyone's destiny is to die.

I will happy and without pain,

all the joy and riches i hope to gain.

I love you all with all my heart,

trust in this we will never truely be apart.

I WILL ALWAYS BE WITH YOU

Hey this is good, now I understand where your heart is, some times it take just a flick of a switch to turn our hearts on and bring us alive. I'm sure now you're cured you're twice as strong as you was, and you can write poetry... AMAZING... I feel this poem, it was truly heart felt it couldn't have been realer, cheers, you've lightened up my day!! INSPIRING!

I remember when you did this and how I felt after reading it! I was so sad but then I realized that you were the lucky one and that you would be there so much more sooner than I would and that made me even a bit jealous!! LOL...I am so glad that they got it all when they did even though you glowed green for a while! Love you!

A wonderful testimony of faith (beyond that of mere man) and personal courage.

I am reminded of this quotation, for which I make no apology, because it appears apt.:

Psalm 146:5 (The Message)

3-9 Don't put your life in the hands of experts
who know nothing of life, of salvation life.
Mere humans don't have what it takes;
when they die, their projects die with them.
Instead, get help from the God of Jacob,
put your hope in God and know real blessing!
God made sky and soil,
sea and all the fish in it.
He always does what he says
he defends the wronged,
he feeds the hungry.
God frees prisoners
he gives sight to the blind,
he lifts up the fallen.
God loves good people, protects strangers,
takes the side of orphans and widows,
but makes short work of the wicked.

Well done Dawn!

Gods Blessing

I loved this piece, you so beautifully expressed what you were feeling.
These are the words I loved the most..
"Never being angry at God for making me an example,

always knowing he'll give me nothing more than which i can handle."
It really moved me...
Good luck in the contest, you have my vote.

Beautiful poem Dawn!!!
I can totally relate to it

This is something I could have written at a point in my life, not very long ago.

My favourite lines:
But for those who love me me dear,

always know i will always be near.

Because up in heaven my peace awaits,

hopefully my chance to see the pearly gates.

This is a wonderful heartfelt piece. I know that feeling I have out lived what my doctors told me by 2
years so I do understand. God has blessed us both in so many ways and I try to touch other peoples lives in a positive way. This is a wonderful testimony to Gods work in your life. Great job.

This is such a beautiful and tender poem. You have written your thoughts so eloquently and gave the reader a peek inside your life and heart. I wish you health, dear...and keep writing and fighting! :-)
