Awesome ghost story...your poetry by itself is always at a incredibly high standard, as a performance piece its just riveting. I hope someone, somewhere besides here shows some sort of appreciation, if not remuneration, for the incredible work that you do. You are one of the writers on this site that I can honestly say has both talent and is already of professional quality.

Wow, this is such a sad tale, and really fascinating to listen, too. Great job on this.

All I can say is simply incredible. Each line flows effortlessly into the next like a song. Excellent work David.

What a mind grabbing tale..with the pictures it was easy to feel like I was right there when it happened..You are so good a writer..One question though for this golf nut...who is the golfer in the picture at the end..I think I know but want to be sure..God bless Katihe

Dave this is absolutely fantastic .I was taken away to a place in the darkened past . When men had only their wits and their fists to live by. I have always loved this poem and always felt it would be a great movie. Such is the story with so many of your works. We the audience are taken away in your dream, and fed on the wild meanderings of your mind .So like the Wizard of Oz you are the puppeteer of Writerscafe and we the players in your dreams.
Bravo
Tate
