Rain

Under the rainy sky, a man says his last goodbyes to his recently departed friend.

Dark clouds have formed above us, banishing the sun

The rain pours down on us like a waterfall, I always run

When it rains, but I find myself bound to you by the grief

Of a thousand drops of rain, has your time truly been brief?

 

This  place where I will leave you behind is bleak

The heart I leave here with you has left me weak

The rain continues to pour down on us like a shower

I shall let it hide my tears, for I leave you with one flower.
