Sea of Petals

Sea of Petals

A Poem by Pash

She is exquisite.
Warm sunbeams on a rainy day,
the rarest flower among a sea of petals.

I am captivated.
Her scent lingers still,
the most beautiful tree in my garden.

I am smitten.

Poem is very precise in chosen words. I can feel empathy and positive energy running out of your poem. It's nicely done .

When I read your poem, I thought about a cherry tree I used to have in my garden, all that beautiful blossom in spring. Yes it is captivating and the scent does linger and I enjoyed the way you approached this. You have a poetic nature.
