Cutthroat and Happy

Cutthroat and Happy

A Poem by David the writer

Who needs honesty
When you can have money
Who needs morality
When you have brutality

Cutthroat and happy
Deception is key
No time to be sappy
The climb up is nasty

Green is powerful
Smiles are beautiful
Voices are colorful
But men are hateful

Greed to fuel empires
Watch as yours towers
As your rivals count their hours
Fearful of your powers

Corrupt and ready
Keep your head steady
Your soaring already
But your ethics are unsteady
