HopeA Poem by David the writerWhen I was a child, I had dreams But it seems My dreams meant nothing And I couldn't do anything But I kept faith and hope And I found a way to cope But I never lost that faith Even in the face of every faced wraith Sometimes the dusk seems darker than ever before And sometimes you can't tell what the future as in store And it's hard to keep going on But it's always darkest before dawn And so as I hang on the end of this rope I still have faith and hope That it'll be worth it some day If I can find my way © 2015 David the writer |
