Savior

Savior

A Poem by David the writer

I can feel the rain
Standing alone again
Who else will if I can't
I've been said to save what's left to save

Why me, why now
I don't know how
Save us, save the land, save the falling?
But I never voluntered for anything!

They're all relying on me
But can't anyone see
I'm one but they are so many!
A thousand eyes looking to me for salvation

I'm trying but I can't save us all
I've ran into a wall
But there's no where else to run
I'm not the "one"!
