The Night's Final BiteA Poem by David the writerThey howl They growl They pounce upon the ground Their slobber dripp from their fangs all around
It's night, and the villagers scramble to their home, and pray for deer life But even they know that it's not going to stop the night The villagers know their life is about to end, but yet they strife
Here they come through the the village, and they arrive to give you the final bite Just when you thought they was light At the end of your tunnel, but there was only the darkness You painfully fade with one bite as you hear the village being burned to ashes © 2012 David the writerReviews
