![]() Morte Pleure prt.2A Story by David the writerMorte Pleure The Fear Dimension My gargoyle's black feathers brushed against the general's as we flew through the sky. I looked over my shoulder, and the goblins were circling above the camp. I looked back as the general's mouth opened. “You looked like you had some experience out there kid.” The general complimented “I've taken down a few camps myself.” Ambrogio informed “Really? No allies, Just yourself?” The general asked, amazed but could believe it “Yeah, all by myself.” Ambrogio answered “Who trained you?” the general wondered “I was a soldier in the war, but that was ages ago.” Ambrogio answered “Why did you quite?” The general interviewed “Why? Because they never did anything but act like they were going to go win the war the next day.. but it never came. So I decided to end the war myself.” Ambrogio explained “Hmm, a solid decision my friend. Well I'd love to chat with you more, but we're here.” The general announced We landed our gargoyles, and I followed him into a throne room. The walls were black, and red flags hung on them. Looking at the flags with a fear bomb with a led arrow in it, I looked at the goblin sitting on the throne. “Ah, you are back.” The tall goblin who sat on the throne noticed with a deep voice “The tall goblin must be the rebellion leader.” Ambrogio observed quietly “Yes sir, with success, and a new recruit.” The general announced “Good good, bring him forth at once.” The goblin who sat on the throne demanded “As you command.” The general obeyed, bringing me to the tall goblin “It's an honor, name's Ambrogio. And you are?” Ambrogio introduced “I am the mighty Firmino, the leader of this militia.” The goblin sitting on the throne introduced “A true leader, you have the commanding voice, you have the glare, you definitely have the throne. I was a leader once. It takes a lot, and I think you have it, kid.” Ambrogio complimented “Kid? You have a lot of guts Ambrigio. I like that though I should decapitate you where you stand.” Firmino replied “So when am I going to start?” Ambrogio asked, eager “Talk to your commanding officer.” Firmino answered, pointing at the general Ambrogio smiled politely, and turned to talk to the general. A seriously wounded troll dramatically entered the throne room. He was vomiting blood as he fell on his knees holding his stomach. He was tall with black fur, yellow eyes, and sharp fangs. “My lord, the orcs came back... outnumbered us...suprise attack, we've lost the camp.” The troll said, pausing only to catch breathes “Soldier, how many of you survived?” the general asked, helping the soldier to his feet “Only me, and I don't think I'll make it.” the troll answered “DAMN! I wasn't expecting an attack that soon. C'mon Ambrogio, lets get a real training course.” the general instructed “Sounds good to me.” Ambrogio obeyed We ran outside, and jumped onto our gargoyles. As we soared I looked down to admire the beauty of my gargoyle. It was long, it had black feather, and a gruesome look in it's eye. It glared back at me only to see what I was looking at. The general nodded at me as he took out his fear bombs. He threw one in the middle of the camp as I looked down into my belt. “I must have forgot to reload! I can't believe it, i'm usually always prepared.” Ambrogio panicked “Rookie mistake, how are you going to handle it?” The general asked “Hold your bombs.” Ambrogio commanded “Why would I hold fire?” The general asked “I'm going down, I may be part goblin but I still have claws and fangs.” Ambrgio shouted, falling from his gargoyle The wind rushed at me as I fell through the night sky dodging all the orcs arrows. Gravity pulling me closer to the ground I prepared. My eyes getting more, and more tearing from the ind getting more intense. I landed on my feet barely still standing because of the impact. I dig my long, sharp claws into all the orcs tough flesh. My crimson claws threshing through more, and more flesh furiously. Waves of orcs keep piling around me only to die in battle. A door opened, and all of a sudden a tall orc outfitted in mighty iron armor. He laughed as he marched to me with his grand iron battle ax in his hands. My eyes meet his black eyes as he kept marching towards me. “Grand goblin, why not stay in flight?” The orc asked I waited no longer than a second before I scratched his face with my long sharp crimson claws. “Not a wise decision.” The ork commented He swung his huge ax, but I barely ducked in time. Still ducked I kicked him off of his feet, and pounced on him. I clawed at his face until he threw me off. We stood to our feet at the same time, and stared the other in the eye as the wind wildly blew. “Impressive goblin, you are a great challenge.” The orc complimented “Same here kid.” Ambrogio replied “ROOKIE,I am no rookie, goblin.” The orc corrected “Could have fooled me. Your footing was off on your swing. I should never have had enough time to recover, and sweep you off of your feet. You should have put your knees up when you saw me about to pounce on you.” Ambrogio corrected The ork waited, but a second before he swung his ax. I dodged, and stabbed through his rib cage, and his heart with my claws. I pulled the orc's heart out, and rose it to the sky. All of the orcs let out a battle cry at the same time. They rushed at me, and I killed them all. Soon they were all dead. Their once green skin was now a dark red, and their guts were strung out from their bodies. I hopped back onto my gargoyle, and flew to the general's side. “Impressive, I didn't think you to be such a mighty warrior.” The general complimented “Mighty? No, I just have experience.” Ambrogio replied “Why did you give that orc advice?” The general asked “To play head games. I knew that it would hurt his ego, and he would swing. It's important to know your enemy.” Ambrogio answered “I don't think we'll have to put you in any extensive training programs like we usually do.” the general replied, impressed “The goblin army was strict, and if you were anything, but a goblin you were murdered after torture. They beat you until you're almost dead, then they throw you into the prison. I escaped because an attack broke out, and nearly escaped. If the fromians didn't attack I would be ashes right now.” Ambrogio recalled “A bit off topic, but interesting. So the goblin army found out you were a vampire, how did they know?” the general asked “I told them I was mute, so they made me a spy. I never opened my mouth until I drank blood on my missions. It worked out great until the formians tricked the army into being allies. They spied on everyone, and when they found out I was a vampire it went down hill from there. Now they know that the formians were only out to weaken them.” Ambrogio explained “Formians? I would have expected that grade of back stabbing from a vampire.” The general commented “Formians are usually very war crazed, and blood motivated.” Ambrogio replied We landed just as the general's mouth opened. We walked inside as people landed our gargoyles were parked by some small children. “Successful, sir. Any other missions?” The general asked “No, carry on with a patrol, and if I need anything done i'll get the new one to do it.” Firmino answered “Shall I patrol with Ambrogio?” The general asked “No, I have a training course planned.” Firmino answered © 2012 David the writer |
