You see, Governments are like roses, there's beauty and there's thorns. But, roses are just what the user wants it to be. They are just roses waiting to be decorated, taken care of, controlled, or destroyed by the sovereignty of corporations. They fed us with endless pedals of lies, of how prosperous our nation will soon be, and when all hell broke loose, they turned against its people and tried to kill everyone. missiles ten times stronger that an atomic bomb were prepared for the very worst. And what happens when you let a bunch of gluttonous fools rule the lives of over ten billions? The answer is simple. DEATH, also inevitable for we are not immortals, we age, we get tired and we can die from even the slightest things. So why is my answer death? Well, at one point around 2089, these so called " corporations" bled the planet dried, its resources and its colors (hope). Hence their power started to crumble, as a man once said "greed in the end, fails even the greed." The tension between the government and its people got tighter and eventually snapped in 2145. And all this then later provoked another great war. A war, the world never really recuperated from. My name is Alex, Alex North. And I am one of the few survivors that survived the great massacre or WW III to be exact. And this is my story,

It's getting interesting, I'm beginning to wonder what Alex's role is in all of this. I do have to say, there are quite a few run on sentences which makes it a little hard to follow. Also, some of the words are unnecessary or misspelled. Other than that, I like it and I'll keep reading. Hope I'm helping!

Thank you for reviewing.
Hi,
You have ask that the chapter be read for content and ignore the technical. I can do that if the technical issues are not so glaring that they distract me from the story and characters. On the first reading of this chapter you have set a tone with Alex and created a personality that made me care about his character and the situation he finds himself. I like the voice you've given him.
The clarity that most teenagers have for the situation they find themselves is present in Alex without the angst or melodrama, which is refreshing. The monologue is good, the story is intriguing.
Thanks
Nonnye
