Accidental Deaths

Eric was taking a s**t when he noticed it. Just a black mass

squished into the bath mat. It had once been a spider. A black

widow. But now it looked like the inner lining of a t-shirt. It

was the kind of spider that would have made his body freeze

in terror. But, when it happened, he had acted heroically. 

Just stepped out of the shower. Crushed it beneath his foot. 

One life ending and the other one not changed in the slightest.
