Playground FolliesA Chapter by DavidRyanM
"The grass is lava," little Jimmy said. "Anything past the trees is out of bounds."
He counted to three as we all ran in separate directions. I climbed the monkey bars and sat on top, letting my legs dangle down to taunt him. Picking up a rock, he threw it at me and hit me in the chest. "That's not fair!" I screamed, clutching what would soon be a bruise. "There are no rules," Jimmy said. He ran off. That is how I learned to cheat. That is how I became the one who was it.
