Missed Connection

She posted about the guy that was near a tree,

close to the waterfront, smoking a cigarette. I had to think

hard but I was able to recall how early last night, I was close to

the waterfront (maybe a mile or two), there were a few trees lining

the street and I was smoking a cigarette. You can make anything

about you if you want it bad enough.

I dig man. Weren't we talking about this a while back? I think the aspect I like most is that he seems fairly unaffected. He's so nonchalant about it. I like that. I think many people in this situation would be devastated, or at least a little shocked it didn't work out like they expected. It seems like the whole thing could just be a joke to him.
