I see visions of the friends I use to have, 

the lovers I've shared lovers' moments with,

the act of trying to become someone else

while standing in the middle of a dark room

and thinking only of tomorrow. 

You call me on the phone. You say it's over. 

I add yet another visual to my ever-growing

mind's eye.

I adore everything about this piece, truly it is perfect to me. The title is moving on it's own and the writing itself is stellar. "While standing in the middles of a dark room/ and thinking only of tomorrow" is my favorite line. I can't wait to read more of your new stuff!
