I noticed something floating in my cocktail glass.

Putting on my reading glasses, which I had difficulty finding because the dog had taken them into her bed, I lifted the glass closer to more accurately see, floating on one side, a young man on a paddle board moving ever closer to a small, tropical island, located fairly near the other side of the glass, upon which he landed and as I continued watching, now mesmerized, saw him gaily surrounded by many  gorgeous, colorful lei throwing, Wahine, who gently took his hand to lead him to a palm leafed, grass shack, filled with all the best of life, which, in addition to their  endless, almost worshipful adoration, backgrounded by soft, lazy blue skies, upon this incomparable, surf fringed, light sandy colored beach surrounding the whole, was where I heard them all agree how much they each look forward to spending their days together on this south sea island paradise gladly taking care of his every need..

I definitely have the feeling that far too many cocktails were sipped or thrown back Dave. One way to create your own bit of paradise. Ingredients please :) Happy Tuesday.

ingredients indeed
I'll have to try one before I hit the road
Not sure exactly what liquid was in that glass but it sure makes for an interesting tale. Seems like the surfer has found paradise. I love this humorous and creative tale. I’m so glad you wrote this. It gave me a smile
