Perfection

From moist deep silent soil

An example of Nature’s perfection

Quietly, an intense beauty rises

As life receives a rose injection

 

The edge of each rose petal

As it blends with those round

Creates a symphony of perfection

As tho’ each blossom had been crowned

 

Exuding a fragrant sweet scent

Part of a kinship that survives

Its aroma a true treasure

Which enhances each of our lives

First time I've ever used it and only because my sister asked me why such a beautiful flower as the rose has such sharp thorns
It would probably also apply to blackberries which taste so wonderful but you hack your arm into a blood soaked mess when trying to pick them....!!
