Garden's Music

Quiet Tin Fairy softly a-seat in the garden

Resting her fragile wings of light metals

Remains unobtrusive through out each day

Alongside bright flower’s, many colored petals

 

Flower garden also hosts a romantic bee

Aware that Fairy is more than just tin

And with him being such a romantic soul

At nights, he plays for her on his mandolin   

 

Beside her, mongst the sleeping throng

He serenades her with every amorous song

And magically, as tho’ she’d waited day long

The waking Tin-Fairy begins singing along

 

Wings on her back simultaneously flutter

As would a hummingbird’s taking flight

As she changes from a rigid statuette

To have burst forth, an inner bright light

 

While romancing, both share a delight

Being no longer one thing and one other

As among sweet scents of the star lit night

They turn into each other’s secret lover

 

When a yawning garden reawakens each morn

All flower’s return to their day bright way

Until, as last of day’s light slips again away

Mandolin music is once more heard to play
