Meeting Larry

A Chapter by Dave Brown

On our travels, Clyde and I met a guy named Larry

He was bearded like a bear and looked pretty hairy

We hung round together for a day or two

Then he explained he had something to do

It involved a girl we heard say

So, we didn’t get involved, not us, no way

Instead, we both just stood back

But of his story, we did keep track

Apparently;

Larry had arranged to meet a lovely Linda at the beach

Because Larry thought Linda was sumkina real peach

They went for a ride in his cool Cadillac

A restored convertible in bright shinny black

Larry thought that Linda was rich and worth mega bucks

And his life of poverty, well, it really sucks

He had bought the Caddy with his very last dollar

Tho’ didn’t sell his dear puppy, he did sell its pricy collar

Then he’d searched through society’s who’s who

Looking for someone rich he could tap into

Someone with enough wealth to make his heart sing

Where he could do his sneaky, scammer type thing

He’d met Linda, thinking she was part of the wealthy crew

And just how very nicely, her and her money would do

Which had him arrange to picked her up on the beach sand

Then, just as he had previously, deviously planned

Larry took lovely Linda on that long Cadillac ride

Eventually convincing her to become his dear bride

And having getting a yes from this sweet little honey

He immediately, mentally, started counting his newly accessed money

However, after their marriage, she confessed to being in disguise

And her presence on Earth was really an alien type guise

She was really on the planet to hunt for gullible, juicy guys

Her instructions were to capture edible earthlings for food

And her capture of Larry had put her in a great mood

Because for Larry she’d had big eyes

Which was basically because of his big meaty thighs

Knowing that after time on her brand-new barbecue

At an alien picnic, he’d be a pleasure to gobble right through

Which she’d told him while wrapping him up nice’n neat

Explaining just how he’d make a great picnic treat

Then, after giving his each butt cheek a slap

Told him they’d look good in an alien, earth-food type app

Although the upshot for Larry was still sorta sunny

Cuz he no longer had any worries about money

That was the unfortunate end of our Larry association

With poor Larry not lasting for much of a duration

His pup had been adopted by another couple on the beach

Who thought the wee thing was just the sweetest peach

This all had been an educational encounter, having us realize

That there could be more to sweet babes than just sexy eyes

Then, as night began falling, we headed back to the inn

Where dear Clyde did some more of his ensuite stinkin

Wow Davie, what an imagination, a sweet beach girl, fakes out a gentleman like Larry and becomes an alien...who devours human flesh...oh dear, poor Larry, but at least the dog was adopted and a lesson learned: the eyes don't tell all!!!
Very cute story D...
Warmly, B

Take care if you are out of same latitudes

Hope you are taking good care,

If people can love and give everything
They can also take life by showing their nakedness of cunning heart that gets or needs a surjery because of acid rain..
